Working with silver is meditative. Your complete focus is on forming the metal into a unique piece of art that speaks from your soul. It is very satisfying to take a sheet of metal, wire and a beautiful stone and make the materials dance. I consider my jewelry to be statement pieces and wearable art - a reflection of me as well as the person who chooses the piece.

Inspiration is ubiquitous. It comes from my travels, a stone, the details of a building, the negative space in the back of a chair, a leaf. At the present my work lends toward the organic. However, it is evolving as I practice my art and continue to study various aspects of metalsmithing.
